Insights from 25 Years in Corporate Banking

For 25 years — from the mid-1970s until 2001 — I lived deep inside the world of corporate banking.

It was a world built on prediction, control, and certainty.
A world where business plans were considered a requirement.
A world where a three-year forecast was treated as a sign of competence, confidence, and stability.

In that environment, a business plan wasn’t just a document.
It was a statement of legitimacy.

If you couldn’t map your future in spreadsheets,
you were considered unprepared — or even untrustworthy.

For a while, I believed this too (but, through bitter experience, I did refer to them facetiously as ‘dream sheets’!

Until I began awakening.

Until I began listening to my inner signals.
Until I realised how life actually unfolds.
Until I began creating from identity rather than from pressure.

And now, with absolute clarity, I can say:

**Traditional business planning belongs to a world that is disappearing.

1. Business Plans Are Based on Prediction — But Life Isn’t

A traditional plan assumes:

• the market will behave

• your identity won’t change

• inspiration will come on schedule

• the world will stay stable

• customers will respond as predicted

• the path will be linear

None of this was ever true.

Life unfolds through:

• unexpected opportunities

• intuitive decisions

• signals you cannot foresee

• timing you do not control

• identity shifts you cannot predict

• synchronicities you cannot plan for

A five-year plan is an illusion of safety.

Identity-led creation is safety in truth.

2. Business Plans Assume a Fixed Identity — IAS Recognises a Living One

Traditional planning begins with:

“What is the business model?”

IAS begins with:

“Who is the creator?”

In the old world, identity was considered irrelevant.

In the new world, identity is the core engine.

When your identity is evolving —
which it must during awakening —
your creations will evolve too.

So how can you map five years in advance
when you don’t yet know the version of yourself
you are becoming?

You can’t.

And you don’t need to.

3. The Next Small Step Principle Makes Linear Planning Impossible

IAS teaches:

You don’t need the full plan.
You only need the next aligned step.

If someone chooses to create a plan after awakening,

This is the world I lived in as a corporate banker.
It is the world that is now dissolving.

THE NEW EARTH (5D Creator Consciousness):

• small-step movement

• trust in timing

• clarity through presence

• creativity

• collaboration

• inner authority

Assumes:

• you only need the next aligned step

• life unfolds organically

• you are guided

• success arises from authenticity

• identity is the engine of creation

• your deeper intelligence knows the way

Produces:

• flow

• meaning

• freedom

• creativity

• grounded confidence

• natural growth

• inner peace

This is the world the Identity Awakening System (IAS) prepares people for.
It is the world I am already creating from.

One Principle Reveals Everything
