Big idea (no fluff)
You didn’t consciously choose your current identity—and your identity is choosing your results. To get different results fast, you adopt a future identity now (yes, “delusional”) and prove it daily with action. Action = votes for who you are. State = the ink that makes those votes stick.
Core model
-
External reality ← internal cause. Beliefs → state (thoughts + feelings) → action → outcomes.
-
Delusion (useful): Hold unwavering self-beliefs ahead of evidence.
-
Two weapons:
-
Action as Identity Votes (optimize inputs, expect nothing).
-
State Activation (operate from inevitability, not neediness).
-
The playbook
1) Action as Identity Votes
-
Define your vehicle + daily inputs (the needle-movers only).
-
Treat each rep as identity proof, not a lotto ticket.
-
Score inputs, not outcomes. (If you expect nothing, you gain everything.)
-
Script: “I cast 3 votes before noon.” (Outreach, Offer, Publish.)
2) State Activation (Inevitable, not needy)
-
Shift from need desire (pressure, scarcity) → want desire (calm conviction).
-
Morning 8–12 minutes: close eyes, breathe down; mentally rehearse today’s 3 identity votes going well; feel calm + inevitable.
-
Anchor line: “I am the operator for whom £[target]/month is inevitable—because I vote for it today.”
3) Align Action + State (the lock)
-
If state wobbles, shrink the action until it’s easy and ship it now.
-
If action stalls, run a 90-second state reset (breathe, shoulders back, read your identity line, press send).
Protocols
A. Inputs-Only Sprint (14 days)
-
Pick one vehicle, 1–2 inputs.
-
Daily quota: minimum viable reps (e.g., 20 DMs / 2 offers / 1 post).
-
Log: ✅/❌ + 1 sentence: “Today I proved I am ___ by ___.”
B. Evidence Amplifier (2 minutes, PM)
-
Capture 3 proofs you acted as the inevitable self.
-
Feel it (10 seconds each). This emotional tag helps rewire belief faster.
C. Anti-Neediness Switch (30 seconds)
-
Whisper: “Expect nothing—execute inputs.”
-
Ask: “What’s the smallest next vote?” Do it before thinking.
Exercises
-
Delusional Resume (one page): Write the now version of you for whom £[target]/mo is inevitable—beliefs, daily routine, posture, language, social rules (what you no longer do). Pin it by your screen.
-
Environment Edits: Remove 3 cues that reinforce the old self (tabs, apps, people, rooms). Add 3 cues that reinforce the new self (post-it “VOTE,” timer beside keyboard, prewritten outreach templates).
-
Identity Language Audit: Replace “try/hope/wish” with ship/prove/complete for a week.
Pitfalls (and fixes)
-
Outcome addiction: You keep checking dashboards. Fix: Inputs Before Optics—no dashboards before first quota.
-
Identity cosplay: Fancy coffees ≠ progress. Assume the actions of the future self, not the lifestyle.
-
Desperation creep: If you feel grabby, run the Anti-Neediness Switch, then do one tiny vote.
Spiritual/mindset note (for grownups with bills 😅)
Faith isn’t pretending; it’s committing to behaviors that make the belief true. You’re not lying to yourself—you’re leading yourself.
Where it fits in the book
Place after Fear Alchemy and before Inevitability Embodiment. It bridges fear tools to the daily operating system: believe → behave → become.
IMMachines tie-ins
-
From Chaos to Clarity GPT: surfaces your next 3 identity votes and blocks distractions.
-
Navigator GPT: picks the single vehicle + inputs.
-
Copy Pro / Thought-Leader Engine: publish the scary piece (vote #3).
-
Traffic Engines: run a 14-day Inputs-Only Sprint with daily logging.
Chapter close (rally cry)
Be “delusional” enough to believe first—and disciplined enough to vote for it daily. Your environment will catch up to your identity, not the other way round.
